World Tourism Day
World Tourism Day, celebrated each year on 27 September, is the global observance day fostering awareness of tourism’s social, cultural, political and economic value and the contribution that the sector can make towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals. ‘Tourism for Inclusive Growth’ is the theme for World Tourism Day 2021. This year’s official celebration will be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire. Many different cultures of different countries have a lot of divergent fashion styles and senses, and every fashion trend experiences different variations and changes. Moreover, many traditional pieces of certain countries started overflowing into other cultures. Still, every place in the world decided to keep up with the latest fashion trends while at the same time clutching to some parts of their own tradition. France is the world's number one destination for international tourists and has an enormous impact in terms of clothing. It is one of the most fashionable and trendiest countries amongst all. Paris Fashion Week is best-known in the world. Some of the most famous names in fashion have come from this city, including Christian Dior, Coco Chanel, Hubert de Givenchy, and Yves Saint Laurent. In India, every tourist is treated as god “attithi devo bhava” , similarly when we Indians visit other countries we carry with us the values of our Indian culture. For example: Rajasthan in India is a big tourist attraction all over the world and is famous for its textiles, Block prints, tie and dye prints, Bagru prints, Sanganer prints and Zari embroidery are major export products and most liked items. Wherever you go in the world, you will find yourself amazed with the various clothing styles, vibrant colors and materials that might be unknown to you. Not to mention that you will be able to learn many different ways of putting on a certain type of garment. Strange hats, shoes, belts, dresses – the world is full of wonders when it comes to fashion, and it is only natural to want to experience these new aspects of life. This tourism day let's come together and celebrate the fashion and styles from all over the world and appreciate its existence.
